Register for Full ECF Programme

Register for the Full Early Career Framework Programme

Step 1: Sign in to the DfE 'Manage training for early career teachers' online service and confirm that you expect ECTs to join you this academic year.

Step 2: Use the DfE 'Manage Training for Early Career Teachers' online service to nominate an induction tutor to manage your school's programme. If you have more than one induction tutor, register one of these to be your lead induction tutor.

Step 3: As part of the ECT registration process please complete a Service Level Agreement (SLA) and email this to ect@otsa.org.uk to confirm that you wish to follow the Full Induction Programme. The SLA includes the following information

School URN:
School Name:
School Address & Postcode:
Lead Induction Tutor Contact Details (Name, Email & Telephone):

Step 4: OTSH will confirm your choice with UCL and UCL will let the DfE know. The DfE will update your 'Manage Training for Early Career Teachers' account to show that you have selected a training provider.

Step 5: The induction tutor must log in to the school's 'Manage Training for Early Career Teachers' online service and add the names and email addresses of each ECT and mentor. The DfE will email the mentors and ECTs to ask them for more information to check they are eligible for the funded training. ECTs and mentors will need to confirm their Teacher Reference Number and date of birth with the DfE to allow them to carry out a verification process. Please be aware that if the mentor or ECT does not respond to the email from the DfE they will not be registered on the system and will not be eligible to begin the funded training programme.

Step 6: Log in to the school's 'Manage Training for Early Career Teachers' online service and check on the progress of the registration and verification of the ECTs and mentors.
