About the Oxfordshire Teaching School Hub

The Oxfordshire Teaching School Hub (OTSH), which builds on the success of the Oxfordshire Teacher Training (OTT) SCITT and the Oxfordshire Teaching Schools Alliance (OTSA), was designated in January 2021. These three entities work together for the benefit of children and young people in schools and settings in Oxfordshire. As one of 87 Teaching School Hubs in England we work with over  300 schools and settings in Oxfordshire each year.

The key activities of the Teaching School Hub will be to work in partnership with all phases/types of schools to:

  • Deliver Initial Teacher Training
  • Provide Appropriate Body services for the new 2-year NQT Induction
  • Deliver the new Early Career Framework
  • Deliver the new National Professional Qualifications
  • Deliver other DfE approved Continuous Professional Development

We look forward to working with you.
